Bora is a Project 1239 Sivuch Air Cushion Missile Ship, lead ship of the project.

Black Sea Fleet

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down at Gorky Shipyard (Zelenodolsk) in 1984; commissioned in 1989; put into service on May 12, 1997. She had a name of MRK-27 until March 18, 1992.

MILESTONES

In November 2006 the ship was exhibited at Indodefence in Djakarta.

In March 2009 the ship performed course task K-2 at the Black Sea.

Operational range: 2,500 miles at 12 knots; 800 miles at 45 knots
