The ship was laid down on February 26, 1985 at Peene-Werft shipyard (Wolgast, GDR); launched on August 29, 1985; commissioned on March 24, 1987.MILESTONES
In 2005 "Russian Party of Life" took patronage over the ship.According to some sources, the ship will soon obtain a name of Urengoi.
