MPK-222 Koreets is a Project 1124M Small ASW Ship (SAS).

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down on January 7, 1987 at Khabarovsk Shipyard named after 60th anniversary of the USSR; launched on April 29, 1987; commissioned on February 28, 1990. The ship obtained the name of Koreets on November 24, 2003.
