"NPO Saturn"

International Maritime Defence Show

NPO Saturn is the center of Russian marine gas-turbine building, a leading developer and manufacturer of new-generation equipment intended for a wide range of marine vessels of the Russian Federation Navy and border forces.

To the order of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, NPO Saturn develops the gas-turbine engines family for marine vessels - the M75RU and M70FRU engines rated at 7,000 and 14,000 hp. (Governmental bench testing of the M75RU was successfully completed in November, 2006; the M70FRU governmental testing is scheduled for this year).

The M75RU and M70FRU engines are in a full compliance with requirements to be met by marine engines of the forth generation while demonstrating their high economical efficiency, long service life, improved mass and dimensions parameters as well as vibroacoustic characteristics, etc.

The M75RU and M70FRU engines and their derivatives are designed to be installed on patrol or guided missile boats of 60 tons displacement minimum, corvettes, frigates, destroyers, missile cruisers, landing ships including air cushion vehicles, airfoil boats, civil off-shore facilities - drilling platforms, floating power stations, gas carriers, air cushion transport, high-speed ferry-boats and others.
