FSUE «VNII «Signal» has been developing automated control
systems for the needs of defense establishment since
the foundation in 1954.
Research fields:
• automated guidance and fire control systems for self-propelled, towed and rocket artillery;
• guidance and stabilization drive units for armored vehicles, artillery, missiles, combat helicopters and naval ships;
• state-of-the-art navigation and survey systems used in modern artillery control systems, main battle tanks, artillery guns, and rocket-launchers;
• variable-frequency digital servo drives based on synchronous machine and high-voltage static converters providing high performances of armored vehicles, antiaircraft ordnance, and artillery weapon.
