Guard missile cruiser Varyag called at S Korean port Inchon on Tuesday. This call is associated with coming visit of Russian president Dmitry Medvedev to Republic of Korea and will contribute to further development of relations between Russian and S Korean navies.

Program of the visit includes meetings with commanding officers of naval base Inchon and local authorities, visiting monument to sailors of cruiser Varyag and gunboat Koreyets heroically died there in 1904 during the battle against Japanese fleet.
