NF rescuers took part in "accident" elimination in the Varangerfjord waters; according to the exercise scenario, the breakdown happened to a Russian fishing vessel. Experts of NF Search and Rescue Service found the "distressed" ship, arranged rescuing of people overboard (mockups), took them aboard and rendered medical aid.
The cruise commander – NF Rescue Ship Brigade Acting Commander Capt 2 rank Andrei Filiuntsev – said the crew of
had coped with all tasks successfully. Masterfully acting at sea, NF rescuers again proved their readiness and ability to perform any tasks, including those along with Norwegian counterparts.
