"The seiner was encountered on Monday in Peter the Great Bay. Foreign-flagged vessel violated the state frontier and entered Russian territorial waters", informed the press release.

According to Frontier Service, the seiner is equipped for crabbing. Frontiersmen found about 2 tons of bait (herring, walleye pollack, sculpin) and 560 crab traps, specifies the release. There were neither technical control facilities nor crabbing permits on board the ship, said Frontier Service official.
