Japan objected to China's frontier incident

Japanese authorities voiced formal protest to Chinese ambassador in Tokyo because of Chinese ships violated Japanese territorial waters, reports Reuters on Aug 23.
Japan's frontiersmen observed two Chinese patrol ships temporarily entered Japanese territorial waters near Senkaku Islands on Aug 22.
According to Japanese government's secretary general Yukio Edano, deputy foreign minister Kenichiro Sasae called Chinese ambassador to remind that Senkaku Islands is the territory of Japan both historically and legally.
