North Korean Navy accused South Korean ships of violation of the DPRK sea border and warned of naval conflict danger, said official North Korean news agency KCNA on Thursday.
South Korea increased the frequency of armed provocations in Yellow Sea since mid-September. Only on Oct 12 sixteen S. Korean ships intruded into territorial waters of the state and broke up fishing vessels working there, said North Korean Navy officials.
North Korean Navy command warned about possible naval conflict between two states and called South Korea to withdraw its fleet from the DPRK territory immediately.
That episode is the sequent attempt of S. Korea to worsen relationship with the DPRK. Democratic People's Republic of Korea does not recognize sea demarcation line, says the source.
Northern demarcation line defined by truce agreement in 1953 after Korean War determines sea border between North and South Korea in Yellow Sea, although the DPRK has never recognized it. In 1999 and 2002 fleets of the countries fought bloody battles with dozens of victims in both sides.
