Russian Coast Guard ship Novorossiysk has started to protect Abkhazian sea border on Sunday, says press-service of Russian FSB Border Directorate in Abkhazia.

Novorossiysk.
According to press-service of Russian FSB Border Directorate in Abkhazia, this is the first patrol ship of prospective guard division supposed to consist of up to 10 boats of new projects
Sobol and
Mangust. They will be basing in Ochamchir.
Since the beginning of the year Georgia has detained over 20 cargo ships heading for "occupied" Abkhazia. In reply to that, Abkhazian president Sergey Bagapsh declared that Abkhazia would destroy Georgian ships violated its border.
