Two sailors were evacuated from Egyptian vessel Wadi Alerat and hospitalized at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, reports RIA Novosti citing press secretary of EMERCOM, Kamchatka Branch.
The shipmaster requested aid in Pacific Ocean 180 km off Kamchatka when two men aboard felt sick.
"Experts of emergency medicine center evacuated sufferers on Tuesday. One of the sailors, a man of 54, complained about heartache; his 30-year old colleague felt qualmish", - said the interviewee.
At 07.30 am local time (10.30 pm Moscow time) tug boat Riany with emergency medicine brigade and evacuated sailors on board moored at the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for customs procedures and further hospitalization of the sufferers.
"Status of patients is heavy; as for provisional diagnosis, one of them has peritonitis, another one has heart attack", said EMERCOM spokesman.
