New car accident happened in Vilyuchinsk nuclear submarine base on Sept 18. A submarine executive officer Capt 2 Rank Alexei Kolesnikov ran over a female naval doctor by car.
The accident happened in the daytime in the base. The woman got open brain injury, was hospitalized and is currently in coma state. Answering questions of Central Navy Portal, Vilyuchinsk police call center confirmed the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, Alexei Kolesnikov had no permit to enter the base by private car. Perhaps, that is why when he noticed the squadron commander he tried to hide behind the corner and ran back. There he knocked down the woman. She fell down, pitched on her head, and fainted. Military hospital in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski made a diagnosis – open brain injury. It is known nothing about any improvements in her health status. The injured woman has children, the youngest one is a 5-year schoolboy, locals of Vilyuchinsk told Central Navy Portal.
Recall that it was by no means the first serious car accident recently happened in Vilyuchinsk through the fault of military servicemen. According to Central Navy Portal, in the last weekend military unit deputy commander Capt 2 Rank Pavel Babyak intentionally ran over his friend by a car; finally, the sufferer died. The accident was a result of a quarrel between Pavel Babyak and his friend. According to eyewitnesses, the officer rolled at least 6 times over his friend's body, and only interference of other people stopped him.
