THE PRESENT BOOK is unique. I have not located any other copy worldwide. It presents the entire IMPERIAL RUSSIAN FLEET present in the Mediterranean engaging in the naval blockade of Crete in the wake of the 1896 Cretan riots, the Hamidian massacres and the war with Ottoman empire
There are 36 photogravures (of which 19 are signed in pencil by Geiser).
LARGE FOLIO, 56 cm x 32 cm. Leather. With gilded letters.
Possibly a privaly printed Presentation Album to the Russian Empress?
Please note: This book will be listed only once ebay (and not relisted). Eu customers have to pay 6% upon the Final Price. Surface shipping free. AIR registered 50$ worldwide with insurance.
Once it sold it will never appear on the market again, being an unique copy. I am not one of those guys who say this of every item (but that you can find in dozens of libraries);
If you can locate other copies, please tell me, because I have searched everywhere. Yes there was this book at a French auction and that is this copy.
