"BrahMos Aerospace"

International Maritime Defence Show

BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile has been developed jointly by Indian & Russian scientists, as a joint venture effort. This missile is designed for use in multiple platforms- ships, silos, shore mobile launchers, aircrafts and submarines against land and sea targets. BRAHMOS is the World leader flying all through supersonic with a capability for variable and maneuverable trajectories ensuring no reaction time to the enemy and a lethal punch owing to huge kinetic energy of impact.

The company has attained a 100% success rates in all the flight trials carried out from land and ship proving the adequacy of the missile system to a maximum range of 290 km with high accuracy and lethality and establishing the reliability of the weapon complex in all weather conditions.

The Indian Navy has already started the induction of BRAHMOS weapon system and the JV has firm orders from the Indian Army. Russian Navy is in the process of identifying a suitable new platform for induction of BRAHMOS. The system will also be exported to a few friendly countries.
