International Maritime Defence Show

DIMDEX 2008 - Doha International Maritime Defence Expo will be held in Doha, Qatar from 17-20 March 2008.

The Event will cover the maritime defence requirements of navies in the Middle East/Northa Africa (MENA) region. The organizers are pleased to confirm the full support of the Qatari Emiri Navy (QEN). It is planned to have a two day Conference to be organized by QEN which will run concurrently with the Exhibition.

IMDEX ASIA 2009 will be the seventh Event in the series and enjoys the full support of the Republic of Singapore Navy. The event is now regarded as the premier 'must attend' Naval Show in the Asia Pacific region focusing exclusively an all aspects of maritime defence.

In addition to the Exhibition there is also a technology driven Conference (NPTS) which is organised by the Republic of Singapore Navy together with VIP Delegations from the region and beyond plus visiting Warships.

The 2007 Show statistics were impressive. There were over 5,500 trade visitors from 50 countries, plus 45 VIP delegations from 35 countries and 22 warships from 13 countries.

With the continuing growth of maritime defence in the region it is anticipated that Imdex Asia 2009 Show will further grow in terms of the number of visitors/delegations and size of the Exhibition.
