Joint-Stock Company « National company «Kazakhstan Engineering
» was created by the governmental order of the Republic
of Kazakhstan from March, 13th, 2003 ?244 «On some
questions of defense-industrial complex of the Republic of
Kazakhstan» by inclusion in structure of the Company of the
enterprises of the defensive industry and military factories of
the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The
company is formed as holding structure for maintenance of
uniform financial, industrial and technological policy at the largest
military enterprises of the republic. The unique shareholder
of the Company is JSC «Kazakhstan holding for management
of state assets «Samruk». The enterprises of the Company
specialize on release and repair of arms and military techniques,
and also output and services for the enterprises working
in the oil-and-gas, railway, agro industrial, telecommunication,
power, etc. complexes. In total into structure of the
Company enters 25 enterprises located in various regions of
the country. Among them such large enterprises, as JSC «S.M.
Kirov Machine building plant», JSC «Uralsk plant Zenit», JSC
«Petropavlovsk heavy machine machine building plant», JSC
«KAMAZ-ENGINEERING» and others.
