The Radio-Electronics Industry & Control Systems Directorate
of the Russian Federal Industry Agency incorporates
enterprises and organisations involved in radio, electronics
and communication industries.
Altogether, the Directorate manages over 700 enterprises and organisations of various forms of ownership.
This branch of industry leads the development of specialpurpose equipments for a large number of vital defence applications, including strategic deterrence forces, armed forces automatic control systems, tactical and theatre-level control systems, communication and telecommunication hardware, including an integrated satellite system, computer technologies, marine and river ship navigation equipment, as well as special-purpose technologies and electronic components.
