Special Boiler Design Bureau (SKBK) is established in 1946. SKBK was awarded with the «Labour Order Khrasnoe Znamya» fro progress being achieved in producing marine equipment. Some workers were awarded with orders, medals. Some designs were rewarded with Lenin Prize, National Prize, Russian Federation Government Prize, Award of Leninsky Khomsomol, VDNX prize. Over 100 USSR author's invention certificates (Russian patents) were obtained, many articles and monographes were written, doctoral and Ph.D. thesis in the field of boiler power systems were defended. Today SKBK is engaged in designing, testing bench working-off, starting-up and adjustment as well as the introduction of ship boilers, steam generators, heat-exchange equipment, automated systems and other special-purpose accessories. SKBK performs production, repair, diagnostics as well as resort factors extension of heat-and-power engineering equipment for surface and subsurface ships. The enterprise designs, supply and adjust boiler systems for stationary energy.
