International Maritime Defence Show
ZAO Turborus is a joint Russian and Ukrainian company
founded in 1993. It provides support for consolidation of efforts
of Russian and Ukrainian companies specialized in development,
supply, maintenance and repair of marine gasturbine
engines and gas-turbine units designed on their base
for the Navy of the Russian Federation.
Founders of the Russian part are NPO Saturn JSC (Rybinsk), FGUP NPO Avrora (St. Petersburg) and 0 0 0 Turbokon (Moscow), of the Ukrainian part - GP NPKG Zorya - Mashproekt. Today ZAO Turborus has developed and successfully state tested M90FR marine gas-turbine engine rated at 27 500 h.p.; a diesel - gas-turbine unit on its base is under development. Technical centers for maintenance of marine gas-turbine engines operated by the Navy and small fleets of the Russian Federation and Border Security Forces of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation are available.
