Tactical exercise of Baltic Fleet (BF) coast defense troops has been completed, reported RIA Novosti referring to BF Press Service.

"Drills were divided in two phases. During the first phase BF marines repelled attack of the "enemy" violated the state border. Having conducted a 150-km march, black berets stifled the offensive. Servicemen of BF infantry force got into action at the second phase. Supported by artillery, they managed to push the "enemy" out of the region", reported the press service.

Over 400 servicemen, 40 tracked vehicles, 20 wheeled trucks, helicopters and aircrafts of BF aviation took part in the tactical exercise. In total, about 1,000 men were involved.

"Consequentially, BF coast defense troops have successfully practiced interactions among units and formations, having finished practical phase of the exercise", said the interviewee.
