There is a Russian crewmember onboard a vessel captured by pirates, reported Maritime Bulletin. The crew may also include three Ukrainians and eight Filipinos.

German dry cargo ship Beluga Fortune sailing from United Arab Emirates to the Republic of South Africa was captured by Somali pirates in Sunday night 1,200 miles eastward Kenyan port Mombasa. The ship flies the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.

One day earlier, pirates attacked Singaporean-flagged ship York; the LNG carrier has 17 men onboard.
