New submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) Bulava would be commissioned till the end of 2011 if the coming test launches are successful, reported Interfax referring to a source in defense industry.

"Once the next two launches are successful, we will consider the question about the missile commissioning date. Hopefully, that will happen in 2011", the source said.

Another source in Russian Navy Main HQ previously said that the latest two effective launches of Bulava hold out a hope that the missile trial program would be completed in Aug 2011.

According to naval experts' estimate, foregoing mishaps were related to assembly technique but not to the missile's design.
