According to Pacific Fleet (PF) Deputy Commander for armament Rear Admiral Farit Zinnatullin, investigators have not brought any charge against him.

"Rear Admiral Farit Zinnatullin said no official charge has been brought against him by appropriate agencies so far. Investigators only handed a decree of criminal case initiation", reports Tuesday PF Information Support Group.

Main Military Procuracy previously declared that a criminal case had been initiated against Zinnatullin and ex-director of 178th Ship Repair Plant Viktor Dymov in accordance with cl. 286/3, Russian Criminal Code (abuse of office). According to investigators, the abovementioned persons are suspect of somewhat RUR 37 mln frauds related with repairs of salvage vessel Alagez.

Military Investigative Department reported that implication of Capt 1 rank Vasily Shevchenko, Chief of PF Technical Dept has been already found out.

Zinnatullin is on his own recognizance. It has not been reported of restraints applied to other figurants so far.
