First in 2011 test launch of ballistic missile Bulava will be held not earlier than late in June due to significant ice depth in the White Sea.

This information was told to ITAR-TASS by Yury Solomonov, director general of Moscow Institute of Thermotechnics.

According to previous reports, there were 4-5 launches planned for 2011; Bulava was supposed to be commissioned into Navy upon results of those tests. Navy Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Vysotsky did not rule out resuming of test launches in spring.
