Suicide bomber Magomed Yevloyev who exploded a bomb in Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow, used to serve at Pacific Fleet (PF), reports Kommersant on Thursday referring to a source in law enforcement agencies of Primorsky Krai.

According to the interviewee, Yevloyev passed training period at 165th marine regiment, and was posted to Smolianiniovo, Primorsk flotilla, PF. Yevloyev had served 3 months near Vladivostok and then being on leave in Ingushetia he was dismissed from service allegedly due to aggravation of infantile head injury.

As for the source, Yevloyev was identified as a Domodedovo suicide bomber with the help of X-ray photographs of his paranasal sinus made during his service in PF. Reportedly, Yevloyev had sinusitis when he served in Far East.

Pacific Fleet HQ neither confirmed nor confuted the information about the terrorist's service record in Primorsky Krai.

Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on Feb 15 confuted reports about Yevloyev's previous service in internal troops. Prior to that, Internal Troops Commander Nikolai Rogozhkin said that the terrorist had served in Vladivostok police regiment for three months before retirement due to poor health.

According to investigation, that was 20-year old Magomed Yevloyev from Ingushetian village Ali-Yurt who exploded a bomb in Domodedovo Airport on Jan 24. That was found out after DNA test. Investigators suspect the terrorist's brother and sister as accomplices; now they are under arrest. Ingush terrorist Bashir Khamhoev and 23-year old Umar Aushev were also arrested.

During the terror act in Domodedovo 36 people died and over 100 were injured.
