US Administration counteracts Russian arms exports almost all across the globe, reported RIA Novosti citing the director general of World Arms Trade Analytic Center (WATAC) Igor Korotchenko appearing at yesterday's press conference.

"The U.S. counteracts Russia's arms exports almost all around the world at the summit level, especially in the Latin America", said Korotchenko answering the question whether it is possible to reorient irretrievably lost Russian-Libyan arms delivery contracts.

As for the expert, reorientation of abortive contracts is possible, although it is a quite time-consuming process.

"This is severely competitive market; sometimes decades are needed to rule markets in some certain countries. So, it's impossible to reorient contracts at once, what we need is consistent work", said Korotchenko.
