During his working visit to Votkinsk, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin shared his view on the military operation in Libya. As for him, such use of force by the US has "neither logic nor conscience".

The head of the Russian government visited Votkinsky Zavod plant during his working tour over Udmurtia and commented the West's military interference into Libyan internal affairs while talking with employees.

"Our government is responsible for social and economic matters, we resolve only these problems. But if you want to hear my personal opinion, I'll tell you", said Putin before commenting actions of Western countries in Libya.

Putin said the UN Resolution No. 1973 adopted on Saturday, March 19 and allowing foreign military to interfere in Libya's internal affairs was "flawed" and compared it with a call to crusade. Armed conflict between supporters of Muammar Gaddafi and the opposition is under way since Feb 2011.

Being a permanent member of the UN Security Council, Russia abstained from voting on the resolution.
