BSF landing ship Yamal arrived in Istanbul

The ship represents the Russian Federation at spring activation of BLACKSEAFOR task force. Along with warships of Black Sea countries, Yamal will participate in festivities related to 10th anniversary of BLACKSEAFOR. The jubilee activities will be also attended by naval commanders of all Black Sea states and officers heading the joint force during all activations.
BSF band, chorus and dance team arrived in Istanbul on board Yamal to assist participation of the Russian side in the BLACKSEAFOR jubilee.
Ships of the international force are moored at the Bosporus Strait. In accordance with schedule, first day of the activation is given for protocol activities, installation of comm equipment on BLACKSEAFOR ships, and organizational briefing on moorage at Istanbul port.
