Delays in delivery of Project 955 Borei lead submarine SSBN Yury Dolgoruky are related to underway trials of submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) Bulava, said yesterday Roman Trotsenko, the president of JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation.

"Indeed, we have delays in the submarine's delivery; they are caused by the necessity to match Bulava missile system with the already built submarine", he said on the air of Rossiya 24 TV channel, reports Interfax.

"It is prematurely to talk about the submarine's delivery date until the missile's trials are finished", Trotsenko said. "But we see significant progress in this area; expectedly, we'll reach a radically new level of security and development in December 2011", he added.
