Director General of JSC Sevmash shipyard Nikolai Kalistratov filed resignation, reports the Central Navy Portal referring to a source in the shipyard's administration.

Formally, the cause for resignation "by personal wish" was frustration of state defense order's deadlines; in particular, readiness date of 4th–generation nuclear submarines.

Retirement of the director general can be approved de jure at the session of directors board planned to be held on Apr 4. However, as was reported to the Central Navy Portal at the shipyard press-service, board meeting was not conducted on Monday and exact date of it is still uncertain.

According to Kommersant, it is planned to appoint Andrei Diachkov on Kalistratov's position; Diachkov's current post is Director General of Rubin Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering.

It should be noted that Central Navy Portal previously reported about supposed resignation of Nikolai Kalistratov, although this information has not been officially confirmed so far.
