Breach of service schedule made by commanding officer of large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov has been proved. In accordance with a procuracy investigation, appropriate actions have been taken, reports the Central Navy Portal referring to Severomorsk Military Procuracy.
In mid-March 2011 a sailor from large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov posted a message on the Central Navy Portal's blog. As for the seaman, commanding officer Capt 1 rank Alexander Mashinetsky had breached service schedule, virtually canceled days-off, refused to grant leaves for some officers and warrants, etc.
Having faced commander's unwillingness to resolve the problem of accrued leaves, coming ashore, and general organization of the crew's leisure time, officers and warrants addressed complaints to Severomorsk Military Procuracy.
An investigation arranged by the procuracy had proved misconduct of the ship's commanding officer as regards to service schedule.
According to Severomorsk Military Judge Lt Col Pavel Sipaty, the investigation has resulted in procuracy notification to 2nd ASW Ship Division Commander Capt 1 rank Evgeny Irza recommending to reprimand his subordinate, commander of large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov A. Mashinetsky.
Executive officer of large ASW ship Udaloy was also notified for neglecting officers' service time on the ship.
