Northern Fleet 61st Marine Regiment turned 68
06.05.2011
Deputy Governor of Murmansk region Alexander Krupaderov yesterday took part in the solemn activity associated with 68th anniversary of Northern Fleet (NF) 61st Kirkenes Marine Regiment.
The vice-speaker of regional parliament congratulated personnel of the famed regiment on their holiday. Krupaderov noted that the regiment's servicemen have written many glorious pages in the NF battle history and continue to demonstrate high sportsmanship and morale, good management of arms and equipment, and ability to perform any tasks.
"Residents of Murmansk region are proud of marines, send the best draftees to serve in the regiment, and make every effort to assist them. Locals know that victory is where Northern Fleet's black berets are", emphasized the politician.
He wished marines further success in their service for the good of Russia, health and happiness.
