Large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov is ready for Pomor-2011 exercise 10.05.2011

Crew of Northern Fleet (NF) large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov completes preparations for Russian-Norwegian joint naval exercise Pomor-2011 which is to be held in May 11-16 in the Barents and Norwegian seas. The crewmen have completed all tasks preceding sea and coastal phases of the exercise.

After completion of all Victory Day festivities, Russian and Norwegian warships will head for the Barents Sea on May 11 and instantly start the first episode of the Pomor-2011 exercise.

Russian journalists accredited for the whole period of exercise will stay on board Vice Admiral Kulakov. Their live commentaries will be broadcasted on Zvezda TV Channel.
