Black Sea Fleet (BSF) mooring lighter KIL-158 left Sevastopol on May 10 and set a course for Black Sea straits. KIL-158 along with BSF auxiliary and rescue ships will participate in the Bold Monarch international rescue exercise to be held late in May off Spain.

The ship carries hardware to facilitate the range for an episode with participation of a Russian submarine, and the newest unmanned submersible Panther Plus which is operated by BSF rescuers.
The ship's security while passage of the straits and during the stay in foreign port will be provided by BSF marine unit.
The Russian ships are planned to arrive in Spanish port Cartagena on May 27.
