Current Black Sea Fleet (BSF) Commander Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev can be appointed Northern Fleet (NF) Commander in the nearest time; his post in BSF would be possibly occupied by Leningrad Naval Base Commander Rear Admiral Alexander Fedotenkov, reports RIA Novosti confirming earlier posted news of Central Navy Portal about coming personnel replacements in Russian Navy.

"In the nearest future current BSF Commander VADM Vladimir Korolev can hold the post of NF Commander. At present, several candidates are being considered to head BSF. The most preferred is Leningrad Naval Base Commander RADM Alexander Fedotenkov", said the interviewee.

"In Navy command's opinion, Vice Admiral Korolev is the most preferred candidate for Northern Fleet which will operate new-generation Borei class SSBNs in the near term", pointed out the interviewee.
