Five officials have already lost the job; other 11 were admonished about nonfulfillment of State Defense Order 2010. Russian vice premier Sergei Ivanov reported about executing of the presidential order to find out reasons of fiascoes in State Defense Order 2010 and reveal responsible persons, writes Lenta.Ru referring to the president's press service.

V. Grodetsky, Director General of Izhmash and A. Hohlovich, Director General of NII Elektrotehniki lost their posts. N. Testoyedov, Director General and Chief Designer of Satellite Information Systems and A. Leonov, Director General of NPO Mashinostroyenia were reprimanded. Besides, Russian government proposed to admonish A. Shilov, deputy director of Roskosmos.

In June 2011 board meeting of Sevmash shipyard is expected to determine the future of director general N. Kalistratov whose ouster has been a matter of talks for months. The list of reprimanded directors of defense companies can become longer in the nearest time.

Recall that three top-ranking military officials – General Major N. Vaganov, Colonel I. Krylov, and Vice Admiral N. Borisov – have been released from office earlier on. Dismissal of the latter officer seems associated with failures in negotiations on Russia's procurement of French Mistral class assault landing ships.

Federal Law on State Defense Order provides deliveries of military production for federal needs in order to maintain proper level of Russia's defense capacity and security, i.e. weapons, ammunition, military equipment, component parts and materials. Additionally, some works, services, and military-oriented export/import deliveries can be performed in the framework of State Defense Order as well.

In 2010 State Defense Order was 70% completed (50% in 2009). Russian Navy did not receive a Project 20380 corvette and three submarines (Projects 955 Borei, 885 Yasen); overall volume of State Defense Order was RUR 1.159 trillions.
