Pacific Fleet ships returned to Vladivostok after anti-piracy mission

The unit consists of large ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov, salvage tug SB-522, and sea-going tanker Pechenga. The meeting ceremony was attended by Eastern Military District Commander ADM Konstantin Sidenko, PF high-ranking officers, representatives of regional authorities, and relatives of returned mariners.
Solemn meeting was held after the ships had moored. Traditional piglet roasts, numerous gifts and certificates were handed out to PF servicemen distinguished themselves during the cruise.
Recall that the ships were on anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden. That was the fifth PF task unit formed to counter piracy off Somalia. The cruise has lasted for over six months.
In the autumn 2008 large ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov became the first PF warship arrived in that dangerous region of the Indian Ocean.
Homeward cruise was traditionally full of various drills. Crews feel well, all systems and mechanisms operate normally.
