Russian, Finnish, Estonian border guards to exercise together

Trilateral life-saving exercise Cooperation & Security 2011 will take place on Aug 4 (if bad weather – on Aug 5) in the Gulf of Finland, told press service of Russian FSB, St. Petersburg branch to .
Border guards of Russia, Finland and Estonia will take part in the exercise. Each party will delegate one ship, helicopter, and national border guard center.
Purpose of the Cooperation & Security 2011 exercise is improvement of cooperation among frontier services, national border guard centers, search-and-rescue coordination centers of participating countries; searching of "distressed" vessel and rendering assistance to the crew.
