MiG launches new series of fighters for India 05.08.2011

MiG started batch production of deck-based fighters MiG-29K/KUB for Indian Navy in accordance with the contract signed in 2010, said the company's official representative at the press conference.

"At the same time MiG completes Russian-Indian contract for 16 fighters MiG-29K/KUB signed in 2004", said the spokesman.

First airplanes under that contract were delivered to the orderer late in 2009.

"In addition, MiG corporation modernizes fighters MiG-29K/KUB in the interests of Russia's naval aviation", underlined MiG Director General Sergei Korotkov.

Multirole deck-based fighters MiG-29K (single-seated) and MiG-29KUB (two-seated) are 4++ generation aircrafts. They are armed with air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles, guided bombs, rocket projectiles, air bombs, and built-in 30-mm gun.

Se ve en el horizote que el gasto militar de los paises occidentales, es demasiado alto devido a la responsabilidad por el mantener el orden mundial. Lo que obligara a estos a recurir a los paises del antiguo pacto de Varsovia y a China, par que asuman este papel de controladores y mantenedores de la democracia mundial
