A draftee serving in one of Baltic Fleet (BF) military units in Kaliningrad jumped from roof upside down trying to commit suicide, reported RIA Novosti citing the officer of BF Investigative Committee Sergei Neilenko on Aug 21.

"Private Denis Yegorov was found in a state of insensibility at 10.30 pm on Aug 19, 2010 at a boiler-house entrance of a BF military unit located in Chkalovsk district, Kaliningrad. He had severe injuries typical for fall from a height", said the interviewee.

Investigators founded two suicide notes at the sufferer written by his hand. He asks not to blame anybody for his suicide.

Investigative group arrived at the accident site and started pre-investigation check; apart from suicide, experts check other versions.

The young soldier is in hospital with basal skull fracture.
