Inspecting Novorossiysk Naval base in Aug 22-23, Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky checked readiness of Black Sea Fleet (BSF) surface ship divisions for tactical and headquarter exercises, reported RIA Novosti citing a spokesman for Russian Navy.

"The commander personally checked work of command ships stationed in Novorossiysk Naval Base, and listened reports of the fleet and the base command", said the interviewee.
