Russia to Attend Arms Show in London 14.09.2011

Over 1,100 companies from 35 countries participate in the DSEi 2011 international defense systems and equipment exhibition taking place in London in Sept 13-16, said a representative of Russia's Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation (FSMTC).

The show is held in ExCeL exhibition center. "Over 1,100 exhibitors from 35 countries have confirmed their participation. Also, official delegations from 80 countries plan to visit the show", said the spokesman. The subject is ground-based military and dual-purpose equipment, naval, aircraft, security, unmanned and robot systems.

"Novelty of 2011 is naval segment including unmanned floating systems", pointed out the FSMTC representative.

Russia's exposition is arranged by Rostehnologii. Military production is displayed by JSC Concern Izhmash and JSC Severnoye Design Bureau.

"Representatives of Russian delegation will hold negotiations to promote Russian products at European and other markets", emphasized the interviewee.

The business program includes over 30 seminars, round tables, and other activities.
