Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin outlined the necessity of complete rearmament of Russian Army and Navy within the next 5-10 years.

"In the nearest 5-10 years we must rearm our Navy and Army in full", Putin said appearing at the United Russia Party congress. "We plan to engage not only defense industry but civil engineering companies as well", said the premier.

"In this connection, I regard raised state defense order as one of the most significant modernization tools for defense industry in particular and Russian economy in general", emphasized Putin.

"To let our industry plan and work systematically, state defense order will be placed not for one year but for a 3-year period", the premier said.

As for him, that would considerably improve economical stance of industrial companies.
