Protesters Hanged Jolly Roger On Cruiser Avrora Sentenced 18.10.2011

Two young men hanged pirates' flag on the mast of cruiser Avrora on Oct 16 have been sentenced for five and ten days of administrative arrest on the charge of disorderly conduct, reported a spokesman for St. Petersburg Police Department.

The girl who also participated in the action was released. Proceeding on her case is postponed for Oct 20, reports ITAR-TASS.

Eight young guys tried to capture museum cruiser Avrora in St. Petersburg on Oct 16. Five of them were detained by the ship's staff and handed over to police; two young men and the girl climbed the mast and fixed the Jolly Roger there.

As was reported on Oct 17, police managed to arrest the action's initiator.
