Hydrographic Ship Valery Faleyev To Be Launched For Pacific Fleet

The ship's launching will coincide with 155th anniversary of PF Hydrographic Service.
There will be a meeting, the ship consecration by a representative of Russian Orthodox Church, briefing of shipyard's officials and the fleet command, meetings with veterans of PF Hydrographic Service, and onboard excursion for press.

Serial number 2001. Laid down on October 24, 2006. Built by JSC Vostochnaya Verf shipyard.The project is adapted for shipbuilder's capability; it is a modification of Project 19910 hydrographic ship Vaigach built in 2007.
Basic characteristics:
Full displacement about 1,000 tons
Dimensions: length overall 56.4 meters; waterline length 53.7 meters; beam overall 11.2 meters; waterline beam 11 meters; hull height 5.4 meters; draft 2.9 meters.
Propulsion plant: 2 x 1,000 kW diesel generators, 1 x 160 kW diesel generator , 2 orbit-roll steerable propellers.
