The video clip emerged in the Internet on Nov 11 showing cruiser Avrora allegedly making blank gunshot is nothing but video fake, told an informed source to Central Navy Portal.

The expert brings at least five quite strong evidences proving the video is just a professional fake and has nothing common with reality.

The strongest evidence against the incident is the live surveillance camera mounted on the roof of the Nakhimov Naval School and broadcasting real-time image online. Records of this cam do not contain actions on board Avrora shown in the videoclip.

Besides, there are numerous discrepancies in the clip proving the fact that the video was made in advance and then edited. According to the expert, that was done quite professionally so that common user has fully naturalistic illusion.

Director of Central Naval Museum Andrei Lyalin and Rear Admiral (retired) Lev Chernavin also consider the videoclip posted on YouTube was a falsification.
