British Delegation Visited Northern Fleet

The delegation visited war memorial in Severomorsk where British and Canadian pilots died in WW2 are buried. British diplomats and NF command laid wreaths at graves of foreign and Soviet warriors defended polar region from Nazi Germans.
The protocol meeting of British guests and NF command took place at Northern Fleet HQ. According to NF Commander Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev, such visits have become a good tradition which has been lasting for many years and promotes understanding between countries and nations united by common history.
Anti-Hitler allies annually celebrate the Remembrance Day in November. The current visit of British delegation was associated with that date as well.
