Russian-French Talks Held in Moscow 13.12.2011

Twelfth round of negotiations between Russian and French delegations takes place in Russian Navy Main HQ in Moscow since Dec 12 till Dec 14. The French delegation arrived in Moscow on Dec 11.

The subject of talks is execution of the Agreement on Prevention of Incidents On and Over the High Seas tied between governments of the Soviet Union and the French Republic in 1989.

Russian delegation includes representatives of defense and foreign ministries. It is headed by Deputy Chief of Navy Main HQ RADM Leonid Sukhanov.

The French delegation consists of representatives of French defense ministry and embassy to the Russian Federation.

Supposedly, it would be 7 naval-related talks about wide range of maritime security cooperation issues.
