Northern Fleet Delegation Arrived in Norway 28.02.2012

Russian Navy's delegation arrived in Bodo (Norway) on Feb 27 to attend the first planning conference of the Pomor 2012 Russo-Norwegian naval exercise, Defense Ministry Press Service told Central Navy Portal.

During the conference lasting till Feb 29, the parties agreed on terms of the exercise, concept, area, and strength of the forces involved. The Russian delegation is represented by staff officers of Northern Fleet.

At the same time, another Russian Navy's delegation from Baltic Fleet started the first planning conference on the BALTOPS 2012 joint exercise along with NATO in Vilnius, Lithuania. The visit of the Russian delegation will last till March 2.
